Uses

Used for topical treatment of susceptible bacterial skin infections and infected minor skin lesions.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to mupirocin or any formulation component.

May cause local irritation, itching, burning, headache, or allergic reactions.

Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue if severe irritation or allergic reactions occur.

Mupirocin inhibits bacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, resulting in inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.

Store at room temperature.
