Uses
Used for treatment of reversible airway obstruction associated with asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to theophylline or formulation components.
Side effects
Nausea, vomiting, headache, insomnia, palpitations, and tremor may occur.
Warnings
Has a narrow therapeutic range and may cause serious arrhythmias or seizures at toxic levels.
How it works
Methylxanthine bronchodilator that relaxes airway smooth muscle and may reduce airway responsiveness.

Store at 20–25°C in a light-resistant container.
