Uses
Used for symptomatic relief of hemorrhoids and anal discomfort and to support local healing.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to the ingredients or nitrate-containing products.
Side effects
May cause local irritation, burning sensation, headache, or skin redness.
Warnings
Avoid use with phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors. Stop use if severe irritation occurs.
How it works
Glyceryl trinitrate relaxes smooth muscle and may reduce anal sphincter pressure. Chlorhexidine provides antiseptic activity, while panthenol and chamomile support tissue recovery.
