Uses

Used for treatment of hypertension when combination therapy is appropriate.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in ACE inhibitor hypersensitivity, history of angioedema, severe renal impairment, and anuria.

May cause dizziness, cough, hypotension, electrolyte disturbances, and renal function changes.

May cause fetal toxicity during pregnancy and requires monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes.

Ramipril inhibits ACE while hydrochlorothiazide promotes sodium and water excretion, producing additive blood pressure reduction.

Store at room temperature away from moisture.
