Uses

Used with a reduced-calorie diet for weight loss, weight maintenance, and reduction of weight regain in obesity.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in chronic malabsorption syndrome, cholestasis, pregnancy, and hypersensitivity.

Oily stools, fecal urgency, flatulence with discharge, increased bowel movements, and abdominal discomfort may occur.

May reduce absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Rare severe liver injury has been reported.

Inhibits gastric and pancreatic lipases, reducing absorption of dietary fat.

Store at 15–30°C in a tightly closed container.
