Uses

Used for induction and maintenance of general anesthesia during surgical procedures.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to isoflurane or susceptibility to malignant hyperthermia.

Agitation, cough, nausea, vomiting, shivering, breath-holding, and laryngospasm may occur.

May trigger malignant hyperthermia in susceptible individuals and requires specialist monitoring.

Volatile inhalational anesthetic that produces rapid and adjustable general anesthesia.

Store at 15–30°C.
