Uses

Used in combination chemotherapy for small cell lung cancer and refractory testicular cancer.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to etoposide or formulation components.

May cause severe bone marrow suppression, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, infection, and bleeding.

Should be administered under specialist oncology supervision. Severe myelosuppression may occur.

Etoposide inhibits topoisomerase II, causing DNA damage and inhibition of cancer cell replication.

Store according to product instructions, generally at controlled room temperature.
