Uses
Cranberry extract is used as a concentrated dietary supplement for urinary tract health, particularly to help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections by inhibiting bacterial adhesion to the urinary epithelium.
Do not use if
Use with caution in patients on anticoagulant therapy (warfarin) due to potential interaction. Avoid in patients with a history of oxalate renal calculi.
Side effects
