Uses
Used for vitamin D deficiency, hypocalcemia, renal osteodystrophy, and disorders of calcium metabolism.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in hypercalcemia, vitamin D toxicity, and hypersensitivity to alfacalcidol.
Side effects
Hypercalcemia, hyperphosphatemia, nausea, vomiting, and weakness may occur.
