Thrombolytic agent used for acute myocardial infarction and selected thrombotic emergencies.

Do not use if

Active bleeding, recent major surgery, or history of hemorrhagic stroke.

Bleeding, hypotension, arrhythmias, and hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Requires close monitoring for serious bleeding complications.

Recombinant tissue plasminogen activator that promotes fibrin clot breakdown.
