Uses

Fluoroquinolone antibiotic for susceptible respiratory, skin, intra-abdominal, and other bacterial infections.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin or other quinolones.

Nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, QT prolongation, tendon disorders, and neuropathy may occur.

May cause disabling adverse reactions including tendon rupture, neuropathy, and CNS effects.

Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, resulting in bactericidal activity.

Store at controlled room temperature.
