Uses
Topical hydrogel used to support wound healing, maintain skin hydration, and create a moist wound environment. Indicated for minor skin wounds, abrasions, and dry or irritated skin conditions.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component, including parabens or formaldehyde-releasing agents. Avoid use on deep wounds or serious burns without medical supervision.
Side effects
Generally well tolerated. Localized skin irritation, redness, or contact allergy may rarely occur. DMDM hydantoin is a formaldehyde-releasing preservative and may cause sensitization in susceptible individuals.
Warnings
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to infected wounds without medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
How it works
Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture in the skin matrix, promoting tissue hydration and healing. Carbomer and algin provide a gel scaffold that maintains a moist wound environment. Propylene glycol acts as a humectant and penetration enhancer.
