Uses

Used with fulvestrant for hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative, PIK3CA-mutated advanced or metastatic breast cancer after progression on endocrine therapy.

Do not use if

Severe hypersensitivity to alpelisib or any component of the formulation.

Side effects

Common adverse effects include hyperglycemia, diarrhea, rash, nausea, fatigue, and decreased appetite. Severe hypersensitivity and skin reactions may occur.

Warnings

Monitor for hyperglycemia, severe skin reactions, pneumonitis, and severe diarrhea.
