Uses

Isotonic (0.9%) natural seawater nasal spray is used for nasal irrigation, moisturization, and clearance of nasal passages. It helps relieve nasal congestion, remove allergens, pollutants, and mucus secretions, and is suitable for daily nasal hygiene in adults and children including infants.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the product. Use with caution in patients with known nasal or sinus pathology requiring medical assessment.

Side effects

Very well tolerated. Occasional mild burning or stinging sensation may occur on first use. No significant systemic side effects are expected with isotonic solution.

Warnings

Use only as directed. For nasal use only. Do not share spray bottles between patients to avoid cross-contamination. Consult a physician if symptoms persist beyond 7 days or are accompanied by fever.

How it works

Isotonic saline solution (0.9% NaCl) matches the physiological osmolarity of nasal secretions, allowing gentle, non-irritating cleansing. It hydrates the nasal mucosa, thins mucus, and facilitates mucociliary clearance without disrupting epithelial integrity.
