Uses

Used for susceptible bacterial infections, particularly ophthalmic infections when formulated as eye drops or ointment.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to tobramycin, aminoglycosides, or formulation components.

Eye irritation, redness, itching, eyelid swelling, and hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

For ophthalmic products, avoid contamination of the dropper and discontinue if significant hypersensitivity develops.

Aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit.

Store at 8–27°C according to product instructions.
