Uses

Used for symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia and hypertension. Helps improve urinary flow and lower blood pressure.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to terazosin.

Dizziness, postural hypotension, headache, weakness, and drowsiness may occur. Fainting can occur especially at treatment initiation.

May cause marked blood pressure reduction after the first doses. Use caution when standing up and when combined with other antihypertensives.

Selective alpha-1 adrenergic blocker. Relaxes smooth muscle in the prostate, bladder neck, and blood vessels.

Store at room temperature in a dry place away from excessive heat and moisture.
