Uses

Antineoplastic agent used for resistant chronic myeloid leukemia and certain advanced head and neck cancers with chemoradiation.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to hydroxyurea or any component of the formulation.

May cause myelosuppression, anemia, infections, gastrointestinal symptoms, and skin reactions.

Monitor blood counts closely. Severe bone marrow suppression and other serious toxicities may occur.

Inhibits ribonucleotide reductase, reducing DNA synthesis and suppressing proliferation of rapidly dividing cells.

Store at controlled room temperature in the original container.
