Uses

Used for GERD, erosive esophagitis, gastric acid suppression, and prevention of certain NSAID-related ulcers.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to esomeprazole or related benzimidazole proton pump inhibitors.

May cause headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or nausea. Long-term use may be associated with additional risks.

Evaluate persistent symptoms. Monitor for kidney injury, severe diarrhea, fractures, and other long-term effects.

Proton pump inhibitor that irreversibly blocks gastric H+/K+ ATPase, reducing acid secretion.

Store at controlled room temperature in a dry place.
