Used for a wide range of susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory, urinary, skin, and systemic infections.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to ceftriaxone or other cephalosporins.

May cause injection-site reactions, diarrhea, rash, or changes in blood tests.

Use cautiously in patients with beta-lactam allergies. Monitor for severe hypersensitivity and antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
