Uses

Used for dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and some fungal scalp conditions to reduce flaking and itching.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to selenium sulfide preparations.

May cause scalp irritation, dryness, oiliness, or hair discoloration in some users.

For external use only. Avoid eye contact and discontinue if irritation persists.

Selenium sulfide reduces scalp cell turnover and has antifungal activity against organisms associated with dandruff.

Store at room temperature.
