Uses

Used to reduce the risk of thrombotic events in selected patients requiring antiplatelet therapy.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in active bleeding disorders, severe liver disease, or hypersensitivity to ticlopidine.

May cause diarrhea, nausea, rash, bleeding, neutropenia, or thrombocytopenia.

Requires monitoring of blood counts due to risk of serious hematologic adverse reactions.

An ADP receptor antagonist that inhibits platelet aggregation and reduces thrombus formation.

Store at room temperature protected from moisture.
