Uses

Used as an adjunct to diet to reduce elevated LDL cholesterol and cardiovascular risk in appropriate patients.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in active liver disease, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and hypersensitivity to any component.

Headache, muscle pain, abdominal discomfort, elevated liver enzymes, and fatigue may occur.

Monitor liver function and watch for muscle-related adverse effects including myopathy.

Combines inhibition of intestinal cholesterol absorption with inhibition of hepatic cholesterol synthesis.

Store at room temperature in original packaging.
