Uses

Used for severe pain requiring opioid analgesia when alternative treatments are inadequate.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in significant respiratory depression, acute intoxication with CNS depressants, and in certain pediatric populations.

Nausea, dizziness, constipation, drowsiness, headache, and vomiting may occur.

Risk of addiction, misuse, respiratory depression, serotonin syndrome, and withdrawal reactions.

Opioid analgesic that acts on mu-opioid receptors and inhibits norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake.

Store at room temperature in a secure location.
