Prevention of tuberculosis, especially severe forms in children.

Do not use if

Severe immunodeficiency, active febrile illness, previous severe reaction.

Injection-site ulcer, scar formation, lymph node swelling, mild fever.

Use caution in immunocompromised patients.

Live attenuated Mycobacterium bovis vaccine that stimulates cellular immunity.

Store refrigerated at 2–8°C and protect from light.
