Uses

Used for active immunization against hepatitis B virus infection.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with severe allergic reaction to a previous dose or vaccine component.

May cause injection-site pain, redness, fatigue, headache, and mild fever.

Postpone vaccination during severe acute illness unless benefits outweigh risks.

Stimulates the immune system to produce protective antibodies against hepatitis B virus.

Store refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C. Do not freeze.
