Uses

Antineoplastic agent used for locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. It may be used alone or with other chemotherapy agents.

Do not use if

No absolute contraindications are commonly listed, but use is inappropriate in patients with severe hypersensitivity to the drug.

Myelosuppression, infection risk, constipation, nausea, neuropathy, hepatic toxicity, and injection-site injury may occur.

Severe myelosuppression may lead to serious infection, hospitalization, or death. Blood counts should be monitored closely.

A vinca alkaloid that disrupts microtubule assembly and inhibits mitosis, leading to antitumor activity.

Store refrigerated at 2–8°C. Do not freeze and protect from light.
