Uses
Used for symptomatic relief of urinary urgency, frequency, dysuria, nocturia, suprapubic pain, and urge incontinence associated with lower urinary tract disorders.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in gastrointestinal obstruction, ileus, achalasia, gastrointestinal bleeding, and obstructive uropathies of the lower urinary tract.
Side effects
May cause nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nervousness, or tachycardia.
Warnings
Use cautiously in patients with suspected glaucoma. It provides symptomatic relief and does not treat the underlying cause.
How it works
Acts directly on urinary tract smooth muscle to reduce spasm and improve urinary symptoms.
