Uses
This combination of diclofenac sodium (NSAID) with B vitamins (thiamine, pyridoxine, cyanocobalamin) is indicated for the relief of pain associated with peripheral neuropathy, neuralgia, musculoskeletal conditions, and inflammatory joint diseases where both analgesic and neurotropic effects are desired.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulceration, severe renal or hepatic impairment, heart failure, and known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other NSAIDs. Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Side effects
Diclofenac may cause gastrointestinal irritation, peptic ulceration, elevated liver enzymes, and cardiovascular events. High-dose pyridoxine (vitamin B6) over prolonged periods can cause peripheral neuropathy. Allergic skin reactions are possible.
Warnings
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Monitor renal function and blood pressure with prolonged use. Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants. Long-term high-dose pyridoxine supplementation should be avoided.
How it works
Diclofenac inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and thus producing anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. B vitamins support peripheral nerve function: thiamine and pyridoxine participate in nerve metabolism, and cyanocobalamin is essential for myelin sheath integrity.
Storage
Store below 30°C. Keep away from moisture and out of reach of children.
