Uses

Used to improve neurological outcomes after subarachnoid hemorrhage from ruptured cerebral aneurysms.

Do not use if

Concomitant use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors and hypersensitivity to nimodipine.

Hypotension, headache, nausea, flushing, and dizziness may occur.

Do not administer oral capsule contents intravenously. Monitor blood pressure carefully.

Calcium channel blocker that preferentially acts on cerebral blood vessels.

Store according to product labeling and protect from light.
