Uses
Used for treatment of hypertension and reduction of cardiovascular workload.
Do not use if
Severe bradycardia, cardiogenic shock, advanced heart block, or hypersensitivity.
Side effects
Dizziness, fatigue, headache, slow heart rate, flushing, or ankle swelling may occur.
Warnings
Monitor blood pressure and heart rate regularly.
How it works
Felodipine is a calcium channel blocker and metoprolol is a beta-blocker that work together to lower blood pressure.
