Uses

Used as a calcium supplement and for prevention or treatment of calcium deficiency. It may also be used as an antacid.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in hypercalcemia, severe renal impairment associated with calcium accumulation, and hypersensitivity.

Constipation, bloating, flatulence, and hypercalcemia with excessive use may occur.

Avoid excessive intake and monitor calcium levels in patients at risk of hypercalcemia.

Provides elemental calcium and can neutralize gastric acid in the stomach.

Store at room temperature in a dry place.
