Uses
Used for temporary relief of nasal congestion due to colds, allergies, and upper respiratory conditions.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline or formulation components.
Side effects
Nasal dryness, irritation, burning, and rebound congestion with prolonged use may occur.
Warnings
Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days due to risk of rebound congestion.
How it works
Alpha-adrenergic agonist that constricts nasal blood vessels and reduces mucosal swelling.
