Uses

Used for temporary relief of nasal congestion associated with colds, sinusitis, or allergic rhinitis.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to xylometazoline and used cautiously in severe cardiovascular disease.

May cause nasal irritation, dryness, burning, nervousness, dizziness, or insomnia.

Avoid prolonged use because rebound nasal congestion may occur.

Xylometazoline is an alpha-adrenergic agonist that constricts nasal blood vessels and reduces congestion.

Store at room temperature.
