Used for the treatment of depressive disorders and may also be used in certain anxiety-related conditions.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in recent myocardial infarction, severe cardiac conduction disorders, and hypersensitivity to the drug.

Common adverse effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, and blurred vision.

May increase the risk of suicidal thoughts in some patients. Use cautiously in cardiovascular disease and overdose situations.
