Used to reduce elevated cholesterol levels and lower cardiovascular risk when diet alone is insufficient.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in active liver disease, unexplained persistent liver enzyme elevations, pregnancy, and use with certain strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.

May cause muscle pain, elevated liver enzymes, abdominal discomfort, and headache.

Monitor for myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, and liver dysfunction.

An HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor that lowers LDL cholesterol and improves lipid profiles.

Store at room temperature away from moisture.
