Uses
Used for treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in patients who may benefit from vitamin D supplementation.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in esophageal abnormalities, inability to remain upright for 30 minutes, and hypocalcemia.
Side effects
May cause gastrointestinal irritation, musculoskeletal pain, hypocalcemia, and esophageal discomfort.
Warnings
