Uses

Used to relieve smooth muscle spasms of the gastrointestinal, biliary, and genitourinary tracts.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to drotaverine or severe hepatic, renal, or cardiac impairment.

Dizziness, headache, nausea, flushing, and low blood pressure may occur.

Use cautiously in hypotension and severe cardiovascular disease.

Antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscle by inhibiting phosphodiesterase activity.

Store at room temperature.
