Uses

A combination of metabolic cofactors and vitamins used to support cellular energy metabolism and correct nutritional deficiencies. It may be used as adjunctive support during recovery from illness or states of increased metabolic demand.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Use caution with parenteral administration in patients with a history of allergic reactions.

Side effects

Generally well tolerated. Nausea, injection-site reactions, or hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Nicotinamide does not typically cause the flushing associated with nicotinic acid.

Warnings

Monitor for hypersensitivity reactions, particularly with injectable products. This product should not replace a balanced diet or treatment of underlying disease.

How it works

ATP participates in cellular energy transfer. Cocarboxylase is a coenzyme in carbohydrate metabolism, nicotinamide is a precursor of NAD and NADP, and vitamin B12 supports hematologic and neurologic function.
