Uses
Used for the treatment of hypertension to lower blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular risk.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to prazosin, quinazoline derivatives, or any component of the formulation.
Side effects
Common adverse effects include dizziness, headache, drowsiness, weakness, palpitations, and nausea.
Warnings
May cause marked postural hypotension or syncope, especially after the first dose or dose increases.
