Uses
Used for hypertension and for relieving symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to doxazosin or related quinazoline derivatives.
Side effects
Dizziness, fatigue, hypotension, headache, and postural symptoms may occur.
Warnings
May cause first-dose hypotension and syncope. Use caution when standing up suddenly.

Selective alpha-1 adrenergic blocker that relaxes vascular and prostatic smooth muscle.
