Used to aid digestion of lactose-containing foods in individuals with lactose intolerance.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lactase preparations.

Generally well tolerated. Mild gastrointestinal symptoms or hypersensitivity reactions may occur rarely.

Not intended to treat milk allergy. Persistent symptoms should be medically evaluated.
