Long-acting bronchodilator used for maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is not intended for acute symptom relief.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to salmeterol or formulation components.

Side effects

Tremor, palpitations, headache, nervousness, and throat irritation may occur.

Warnings

Not for acute bronchospasm. Do not use as LABA monotherapy in asthma.
