Uses

Used for duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, GERD, erosive esophagitis, and heartburn associated with acid reflux.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to omeprazole, benzimidazoles, or formulation components.

Headache, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and flatulence may occur.

Long-term use may increase risks of fractures, kidney injury, infections, and vitamin deficiencies.

Omeprazole inhibits the gastric proton pump, while sodium bicarbonate neutralizes gastric acid and protects omeprazole from degradation.

Store at room temperature in a dry place.
