Uses

Used for treatment of acute uncomplicated influenza A and B and for influenza prophylaxis in appropriate patients.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with serious hypersensitivity to oseltamivir or formulation components.

May cause nausea, vomiting, headache, and abdominal discomfort.

Monitor for severe allergic reactions and rare neuropsychiatric events during treatment.

Oseltamivir is a neuraminidase inhibitor that reduces release and spread of influenza viruses.

Store at 20–25°C in a tightly closed container.
