Uses

Isotonic seawater nasal spray is used for nasal hygiene and to relieve nasal congestion associated with colds, rhinitis, and sinusitis. It moisturizes and cleans nasal passages, facilitating mucus clearance.

Do not use if

No absolute contraindications. Use with caution in patients with nasal polyps or following recent nasal surgery; consult a physician before use in such cases.

Side effects

Extremely well tolerated with minimal adverse effects. Transient sneezing or mild stinging sensation upon application may occur in rare cases.

Warnings

For nasal use only. Do not swallow. Use a clean technique to avoid contamination of the spray nozzle. Discard according to expiry date and manufacturer instructions.

How it works

Isotonic saline solution (0.9% NaCl equivalent from sea water) cleanses and moisturizes the nasal mucosa without causing osmotic disturbance. It promotes mucociliary clearance, removes allergens and pathogens, and restores normal nasal humidity.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Keep the nozzle cap closed when not in use.
