Uses

Used in combination chemotherapy regimens for testicular, ovarian, bladder, and other solid tumors.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in severe renal impairment, significant hearing impairment, myelosuppression, and hypersensitivity to platinum compounds.

Nephrotoxicity, nausea, vomiting, hearing loss, neuropathy, and bone marrow suppression may occur.

Requires close monitoring of renal function, hearing, and blood counts.

Platinum-based antineoplastic agent that forms DNA cross-links and inhibits cancer cell replication.

Store at 20–25°C and protect from light.
