Uses

Used for treatment of strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, and certain other parasitic infestations.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ivermectin or any component of the formulation.

May cause fatigue, dizziness, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and skin reactions.

Treatment of onchocerciasis may be associated with inflammatory reactions related to parasite death.

Ivermectin binds selectively to parasite chloride channels, causing paralysis and death of susceptible parasites.

Store at room temperature.
