Uses

Used for treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder and certain anxiety-related disorders.

Do not use if

Concomitant use with MAO inhibitors, tizanidine, thioridazine, pimozide, ramelteon, or hypersensitivity.

Nausea, insomnia, somnolence, headache, dizziness, and sexual dysfunction may occur.

Monitor for suicidal thoughts, serotonin syndrome, and drug interactions.

Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor that increases serotonin availability in the brain.

Store at room temperature.
