Used for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults.

Do not use if

Contraindicated with MAO inhibitors or within the recommended washout period because of serotonin syndrome risk.

Common effects include diarrhea, nausea, insomnia, dizziness, and sexual dysfunction.

Monitor for suicidal thoughts, serotonin syndrome, mania, bleeding risk, and hyponatremia.

Acts as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor and partial 5-HT1A receptor agonist.

Store at room temperature in the original container.
