Uses

Indicated for neovascular age-related macular degeneration, macular edema following retinal vein occlusion, and myopic choroidal neovascularization.

Do not use if

Ocular or periocular infections and hypersensitivity to ranibizumab or formulation components.

May cause eye pain, increased intraocular pressure, conjunctival hemorrhage, endophthalmitis, and retinal detachment.

Monitor for endophthalmitis, retinal detachment, elevated intraocular pressure, and thromboembolic events.

VEGF-A inhibitor that reduces abnormal blood vessel growth and vascular leakage in the eye.

Store refrigerated at 2–8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
